Franz Kline, Four Square, 1956I’ve been thinking about Franz Kline lately. How did he do that? How did he make such animated, dimensional space with such limited visual means? Like complex mathematical proofs, where I can follow, but can’t recreate them, I can see the pieces he used and I can see the end result, but how he put it together is mysterious and magical.

They may be the alma mater, but oh man - what were they thinking spending $4 million dollars for this coach? so they could look like they sent the JV team out?
