I’ve been thinking about Franz Kline lately. How did he do that? How did he make such animated, dimensional space with such limited visual means? Like complex mathematical proofs, where I can follow, but can’t recreate them, I can see the pieces he used and I can see the end result, but how he put it together is mysterious and magical.
