November 21, 2008These are my links for November 20th through November 21st:
- CSSKarma.com » Header and Footer in the Semantic Web – Calling for abandoning 'header' and 'footer' for more semantically correct monikers.
Quote: What if you want to put the logo somewhere else? Maybe your copyright and contact information isn’t stylish at the bottom of the page anymore? Or you just want to move that sidebar where your "footer" is? You’ll have to rework the markup, move code around and waste time. This takes a valuable function of out CSS, you should be able to completely redesign the layout of your site without touching the markup (unless you want to add stuff, of course). That’s the true power of CSS.
- Where The Deals Are Done – Quote: He noted that Ann Arbor is lacking one common feature found in larger cities: "You can walk into a more upscale restaurant at lunch or dinner and find one or two big tables where rotating groups of people are sitting – a community table. We don't have any of those here.”
(Article written by Connie) - DC Electronics – Oooh oooh oooh – electricity school!

re: Where the Deals are Done. I’d love a community table, but I’m so totally not a mover and shaker like the people in the article. I just think it’d be cool from a social standpoint.
Reading that article reminds me of what a slacker I am–and how glad I am to be one :)
